Emergency Support for Housing and Distribution of Food & Hygiene Kits for Victims of Gang Violence in Port-au-Prince
This project aims to provide emergency support to families displaced or affected by gang violence in the most vulnerable neighborhoods of the Port-au-Prince metropolitan region, Haiti. With a requested fund of $10,000, we will offer temporary shelter support, essential food items, and hygiene kits to promote dignity, health, and hope in crisis-affected communities.
🎯 Project Objectives:
Provide emergency food packages to 150 vulnerable families (approx. 5 members each).
Distribute hygiene kits to improve sanitary conditions and prevent disease outbreaks.
Support emergency housing assistance (rent support, tarps, or temporary shelter items) for families displaced due to rival gang conflicts.
Restore a sense of safety and human dignity among affected individuals.

Displaced or highly vulnerable families (widows, children, disabled persons).
Families living in gang-affected zones such as Martissant, Croix-des-Bouquets, Cité Soleil, and nearby neighborhoods.
Individuals who have lost their homes or income due to gang conflict and insecurity.
